The Warrior's Path Redux

The Warrior's Path Redux

Can your martial art or self defense system really save you? I believe this is a question that, in general, many martial artists or self-defense practitioner's eventually ask themselves. I don't think it is disrespectful of our teachers and I think quite normal to have questions about the effectiveness of our techniques, especially when you get to a point in your training where you start practicing for situations where you can get maimed or killed. Would they really work in the real world instead of a dojo or training facility? Initially, my intention was only to look at a few videos to see what "real" violence was like and whether my techniques seemed plausible. Only it quickly grew to a much larger set that amazed and repulsed me. A picture is worth a thousand words as the saying goes.

If you lack real world experience and that is everyone's
preference I'm sure, you may find these videos as educational as I have.
You can't fully understand from a video what happens physically,
mentally and emotionally in a violent altercation, especially at the extreme edge,
but I found you can gain some insight without having to risk life and limb.
Seeking violence to test one's techniques, although probably highly informative,
is I think, rather insane. The best of luck on your own Warrior's Path.

Warning. The videos may contain content that can be very distressing to some audiences.
